LaunchDay Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions apply to all services provided by LaunchDay (“we”, “us”, “our”).

By booking a project with us, you agree to these terms.

1. Our Services

LaunchDay helps NZ businesses get online quickly with:

LaunchDay Web: A professionally designed 1-page website – built and live in just 1 day

Each LaunchDay Web project includes:

  • A professionally designed 1-page website
  • Mobile-optimised design
  • Basic SEO and AEO optimisation (based on client-provided copy)
  • Integration of your content, images, and branding
  • Contact form functionality (if required)
  • Fast-loading, conversion-focused layout
  • Editor access to update your copy and some imagery
  • 12 months of website hosting
  • 7 days of post-launch support (minor content/image tweaks only)

LaunchDay Social:

If you purchase LaunchDay Social, your package includes:

  • Instagram account setup with professional branding (profile image, bio, highlights)
  • 9-post Launch Grid created and posted
  • Cohesive mix of single images and carousels aligned with your branding (optional depending on bundle)
  • A fully launched Instagram account ready for continued growth

LaunchDay Complete:

If you purchase LaunchDay Complete, your package includes:

  • Full LaunchDay Website + LaunchDay Social combined
  • Website live in 1 day
  • 12 months of website hosting
  • Instagram account fully set up with 9 ready-to-go posts (within 30 days)
  • Cohesive branding across website and social media
  • A complete, professional online presence for NZ small businesses

2. What’s Not Included

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, our service does not include:

  • Logo design or brand identity creation
  • Full copywriting or content creation services
  • Domain registration, renewal, or management
  • Fully custom-built or bespoke website development
  • Advanced integrations or systems
  • Ongoing revisions or long-term support
  • Advanced functionality or integrations

Any additional work will be quoted separately.

3. Payment Terms

  • Full payment is required upfront to secure your booking.
  • Your project date is not confirmed until payment has been received.
  • Work will not begin until payment and all required content have been provided.

4. “1-Day Website” Turnaround

The “1-day” turnaround means:

  • 1 working day of build time
  • This only begins once all required content and assets have been received

If content is incomplete, the timeline will be delayed.

5. Client Responsibilities

To ensure your project runs smoothly, you agree to:

  • Provide all required content (copy, images, branding)
  • Ensure content is final and ready to use
  • Respond promptly to any questions or requests

We are not responsible for delays caused by missing or incomplete or late content.

6. Project Timing & Delays

  • All content must be submitted at least 7 days before your scheduled build date.
  • If content is not received in time, your project will be paused.
  • A new date will need to be booked.
  • A restart or rescheduling fee may apply at LaunchDay’s discretion.

Failure to meet content deadlines may result in delays to your project.

7. Revisions & Support

  • You will receive 7 days of post-launch support for minor LaunchDay Web updates.
  • This includes small changes to:
    • Text
    • Images

This does not include:

  • Redesigns
  • Structural changes
  • Additional pages or features
  • Fixing issues caused by client-made or third-party changes

Any additional work beyond this period or scope will be quoted separately.

8. Cancellations & Refunds

  • All bookings are non-refundable once confirmed.
  • Your booking reserves a dedicated build date.
  • If you need to reschedule, we will do our best to accommodate with reasonable notice.

Failure to provide required content may result in delays or additional fees.

9. Ownership & Usage

  • You retain ownership of all content you provide (text, images, branding).
  • LaunchDay retains ownership of the website structure, design system, and build framework.
  • You are granted editor access to update and manage your website copy and images that you have provided.
  • You will not have access to edit the full website structure or underlying design.

Websites are hosted through LaunchDay unless otherwise agreed.

We reserve the right to showcase your website in our portfolio and marketing.

10. Client Edits & Third-Party Changes

  • Once your website is delivered, you are responsible for any changes made using your editor access.
  • LaunchDay is not responsible for errors, issues, or damage caused by changes you make after delivery.
  • Any work required to fix or restore issues caused by client edits may be charged at an additional cost.
  • You are responsible for keeping your login details secure.
  • LaunchDay is not responsible for any changes made by third parties who have been given access to your website (including contractors, employees, or other service providers).

11. Third-Party Services

Your website and/or social media services may rely on third-party platforms or tools (including hosting providers, plugins, integrations, and social media platforms).

We are not responsible for:

  • Changes made by third-party providers
  • Downtime or service interruptions outside our control
  • Loss of functionality caused by external systems

12. LaunchDay Social & LaunchDay Complete

If you purchase LaunchDay Social or LaunchDay Complete:

  • No guarantees are made regarding performance, including follower growth, engagement, reach, or business outcomes
  • Results depend on external factors including platform algorithms and user behaviour
  • You are responsible for ongoing posting, engagement, and account management after delivery unless otherwise agreed
  • We are not responsible for changes to social media platforms that affect performance or visibility

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • We are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss
  • This includes loss of revenue, business, or data

Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time.
The latest version will always be available on our website.

14. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand.
Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of New Zealand courts.
